The best part about PBHJ is that I get to create art that celebrates amazing people at every event I attend! The second best part is that it’s my side gig!

I am a full time high school art teacher and I feel like I am one of the few lucky people who can say that absolutely love my job. Today marks the end of year 5 of teaching for me and that feels like a milestone worth celebrating! It is such an honor and privilege to help young people develop their artistic voices and creativity abilities. This past year was a great one, I can’t wait for what’s next!

Even though I have a break I won’t be slowing down! Over the next few months I will be finishing my masters degree, planning my own wedding, and painting at many pbhj weddings and events this summer! We are just getting warmed up over here so stay tuned for more!

The Mix was a night to remember. I can’t think of a better way to spend a Friday night in Toledo! If you missed it, keep it in mind for next year! The proceeds go to supporting programs for the arts in Toledo and it is truly a party like no other!
