Kyleigh Adams

Hey guys! My name is Kyleigh Adams, and I’ve had the absolute pleasure of serving as your 2025-2026 Varsity Thespian President while also experiencing varsity theatre for all 4 years of high school. Theatre has completely changed my perspective on the world and on myself, and this team became so much more than a team to me, it became my family. Over these past 4 years, I’ve had the privilege of being part of all 16 productions, competing in extemporaneous speaking and prose and poetry, and growing in ways I never expected. Every single show was different, but one thing never changed was the incredible talent and love within this program. I also want to thank our directors, Denbow, Steiner, Thomas, and Williams for believing in me, supporting me, and reminding me I was loved. Y’all have impacted my life more than you know. To my underclassmen and incoming freshmen, I know next year will look different, but I also know you guys are going to thrive. You all are far too talented not to. I’m beyond thankful for this chapter, even though saying goodbye is hard. Like Winnie the Pooh said, “How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.” I love each and every one of y’all forever. Your 2025-2026 Varsity Thespian President, signing off.💗

To our seniors,
thank you for all the memories, laughs, advice, and moments that made theater special. Y’all have had such a big impact on us, and it’s hard imagining theater without y’all here. No matter where life takes y’all next, we know y’all are going to accomplish incredible things and make or department so proud. We’ll always be cheering y’all on and rooting for yall on and off stage.We are so proud of y’all. We know y’all are gonna go off and do amazing things. Y’all will forever be apart of Troupe 1653.

Samuel Rodriguez

Hey My name is Sam! I’ve had the pleasure of being  your 25-26 Thespian Vice President, as well as being a part of Varsity Theatre for all four years of high school and I could not be more grateful for every single moment I had in it. Theatre has brought me so many wonderful memories that you can’t replicate anywhere else. This department is like my second family and I love how welcoming and full of life every single person is. Every show was a unique experience that I came out of only wanting more. Theatre has molded me into the person I am today. I’m going to miss the Denbow & Steiner dynamic. I see both of them as my mentors and I’m so glad I get to graduate with them. Every memory, every story, made in their classrooms will live in my heart forever. No matter how long the days in rehearsal got, I only wished I could do it more. This is where my passion lies. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for me. Thank you Varsity Theatre for giving me the best four years I could have ever asked for.

Amuno Oweh

Hey everyone! My name is Amuno, and I was given the pleasure to serve as this year’s secretary and have been a part of the Varsity Theatre team since my freshman year! This experience has truly been a blessing and has brought me so much joy, and it’s so hard to say goodbye. I’ve been given the opportunity to be apart of 16 productions, and each production has taught me something new. Each director, each show, each piece, and each new friendship has shaped me to be a better version of the person that first walked into Denbow’s classroom. I’ve found my closest friends and have had the funniest conversations; I’ve made countless memories in the theater, and this department became my safe place for the past four years, and it makes me so sad to be leaving it behind. No matter how much I have and continue to complain, the joy I’ve experienced from this department is unmatched from anything I’ve done in high school, and it’s allowed me to find who I am. I am so excited to see what the future has in store for the department moving forward, and this team will always be special in my heart.

Hey, my name is Dexter Landry. I was this year’s tech representative, and I am really glad that I got to be a part of this team. With the help of an excellent director, I have been able to build my and others skills, opening up a lot of real world opportunities. Hi guys, my name is Leo and i’ve been in varsity theatre for all four years now! I’ve been in many shows, from “Steel Magnolias”, my first high school show where i did tech, then came “Little Shop of Horrors”, where i got to have a funny bit in the show, and to wrap up my freshman year I was an understudy in “Reckless”. Sophomore Year started with “Everybody” where i had played a minor supporting role. Junior year had more involvement as I was in all shows from “Night of the Living Dead” to “Chicago” and “Epic Proportions”. Finally, senior year started with a bang, with “The Play That Goes Wrong”, in which I played the lead detective, after which I supported the cast in “Into the Woods”, and finally lead the cast with Arlecchino in “Pinocchio Commedia”. All to say I had an amazing time throughout my high school career and I couldn’t have done it without theatre. Thank you.

Hi guys I’m Madisen! I have fortunately been given the opportunity to be a part of varsity since my freshman year. Theater has shaped me in so many ways, not just as a person, but also by bringing some of the most amazing people into my life. I’Il never forget as a freshman when the seniors would talk about how quickly time passes, and I never really understood it until now. As I’m writing this, I realize I only have five weeks left of my high school career. Time has truly flown, and I don’t know what l’ll do knowing that in just a few weeks, it will be my last time ever performing on a stage.
Enjoy it while it lasts, it feels like just yesterday my friend pushed me into auditioning for varsity, and now I get to not only share that experience with her, but also carry all the new friendships and connections I’ve made across the stage with
