Now that the dust has settled on Festival 2026, we're reflecting on how grateful we are for all the volunteer help who stepped up this year to lend a hand and contribute to the success. At the risk of forgetting someone, we'd like to give a shout out to some of our all star volunteers!

Oh, what a weekend! To all who attended, all our talented exhibitors and food vendors, all of the incredible musicians who entertained, all our many volunteers, all of those who continue to contribute and support the festival each year, and our little village, tucked 10 miles into the woods, for welcoming everyone year after year...we are so very grateful! A special shout out to Bill and Cathy Shamel, and Sophie Melanson, for having the vision and building this amazing festival that has become loved by so many. Their passion for this event and this community shows in all they have done and we all have been blessed to be a part of it.

The gates are open for Day Two! Quick! Hop in the car and take a scenic drive to GLS! We guarantee you will not be disappointed. Music all day, amazing artists and crafters, activities for the kids, canoe and quilt displays, and everything from burgers and lobster to cookies and peanuts! Don't miss Maine's best little festival! 10 am to 5pm!

As the sun sets over the ballfield, we are ending a rather busy day! Thanks to the many hands who trucked, lugged, lifted, hung, and got everything looking pretty! Every year, it's like a homecoming, as exhibitors arrive and are greeted with hugs and handshakes. It's truly magical and we sure hope you'll come experience that GLS hospitality this weekend! 10 to 5 both days...well worth the drive!
