Hello to my fellow crafters. I haven't had a lot of time to design new crafts this year due to two deaths in my immediately family. One in early April and the second late July. I hope to have more time and energy in the coming months. Thank you to everyone for your support during this time.

Fished the first round of paint. Letting it dry for at least 48 hours before I decide if I want to add some texture paint or the like.

Also debating if I want to make a custom LED frame for it. 🤔

What are your thoughts?

Did the first round of paint. It's looks ok at the moment. The real test will be how it finishes drying and looks in the sunlight. It will likely look more clear than white. This is painted on the "backside." Usually, I like how it looks better from the front when it's painted on the back. But, with how I blended different paint colors, the back... may be the new front.

Foiling is coming along on KOI Kiss. Took about 3 1/2 hours of foiling to get it half way there.

Once I've completed the test pattern, kits will be available for purchase and DIY crafting via Esty.

Been working on a new pattern for

"Koi Kiss"

The pieces in the image are laser cut plexiglass. The brown paper will be removed to reveal clear pieces. Each piece will be foiled and then soldered, just like stained. Once completed, I'll paint with paints. For this pattern I'm experimenting with higher grade foil to see if it won't goop out so much in my plexiglass during soldering. I post updates.

I put on the first round of paints on "Elegance". Once it dries enough I'll take a photo in the sunshine.

The second image is my digital coloring of Elegance. After I chose my colors digitally, I then matched them using my ColorExplore chart and painted the soldered craft. The painted version is way prettier and I slightly adapted the color pattern.

I had my mom help me out and hold up
for a photo. It looks really in the sunlight and like but it's ( ) that's been foiled and soldered like and then painted with stained glass effect paints. FYI these paints require no oven firing. Just paint and let set to dry.

Took a lot of work to redesign this Skull pattern for PlexiCrafting, but by jove I think I've done it! My first effort, a couple months ago, turned out really bad. But today I was in the flow. Should be able to launch this pattern in time for early Halloween crafting!

Getting closer to being able to solder "Elegance". Foiling is moving along. Soon this pattern will be available for DIY crafting on Etsy. (*Note* blue color is blue painter tape holding clear plexiglass pieces in place)
