Aurora Borealis above Mt Garfield and The Bookcliffs 11.11.25.
A 20 year goal ✅ I’ve wanted to see and photograph the northern lights for so long. I have looked at trips to where you can have a chance to see them but unfortunately never could make it happen. When we started having the events in my hometown and the surrounding areas I was never in the right place/time. I caught some version of it but nothing like last night. Last night… whew… A good friend of mine sent me some shots he got on his phone and I literally gasped. Realizing for a phone to look that way, bright, wide spectrum colors, and warm, was incredibly rare, even in places it’s more common, I couldn’t miss the chance. I am not one to head out after 8:00pm for any reason short of an emergency. This qualified. I loaded up, crossed my fingers, and headed for the desert. I managed to be exactly where I wanted to be for peak colors. Open skies, perfect weather, and a nearby interstate full of headlights to paint Mt Garfield made for a nearly perfect situation. I even got to witness them dance for a few minutes. An emotional moment packed with a novel beauty I’d never experienced. Truly awe struck. What an incredible couple hours. Unbelievably thankful so many things lined up.

A few days late but wanted to proclaim your love from atop a mountain. I used your a few of the photos instead, but same effect applies 😬
Taking on less weddings these days but the ones I do take I thoroughly enjoy. Getting to feel that energy when two people commit their lives to each other and are truly in love is hard to beat. I am honored to have been able to spend this time with you and capture these moments.

When we choose to marry someone there is no question of how strong the bond is. We choose to go through this life together no matter what hardships we may face. No one saw the pandemic coming, the fires, the shortages, the political upheaval etc. The couples who not only triumphed during exceedingly difficult times, but also got married, you are an inspiration to us all.
While the unprecedented times continue, so does love and my passion for capturing it.

Blake’s session required I get in the water with him. He wanted to capture his love of the outdoors and focus on fly fishing. We had an absolute blast! Couldn’t be happier with the results.

London Bridge

I originally thought this was not London Bridge, because of the more striking and iconic Tower Bridge. When I first saw it during the day it really wasn't much to behold. At night is a different story. London lights up with beautiful colors and architecture. London Bridge became a color shifting show and fun to shoot. I scouted around for a while before my wife and I ended up on the Queens Walk and found this angle. The Shard, that giant awesome thing in the background is the tallest building in the UK. Happy with the composite and colors in this one.
