The last Studio Social was so fun and informative with the demo by Susan Wallace! The Socials are now on a break for the summer. Stay tuned for more to come in September and some new studios to visit!

Please NOTE: Before Susan’s Demo, we will have an activity to experiment with brush strokes, so bring your favorite brush or two to join in! Also - this will be the last Studio Social before a break for the summer, and we will start back up in September.

Thanks to everyone that came to this month's Studio Social and special thanks to the presenters - Hannah Martin for the surface decoration demo and Amy Marlowe for the presentation on Warren MacKenzie and the McKinnells from Colorado. Both presentations had so much great feedback!

The next Social will be Tuesday, May 12th, from 6:30 to 8:00 PM (doors open at 6:00) at the Red Hawk Studio. This will be the last Social before a break for the summer, and they will resume again in September. All pottery skill levels are welcome! Contact for any questions.

Calling all local potters! I’m starting something new! I'd like to build an informal group to share our love of pottery and help everyone hone their pottery skills. I hope that this "Studio Social" pottery meetup could grow into a monthly get-together.

What I am thinking as the format:
1. A Demo/Technique Sharing Session: Anyone can sign up to do a demo (at my studio or yours) at any time.

2. A Friendly Feedback Session: One person per meetup can sign up to bring in pieces for discussion and ask questions or get feedback.

Snacks: We’ll have iced tea, lemonade, and cookies, and anything else anyone would like to bring is welcome.
