Marilyn Ryan
Color, pattern, texture - and a whole lot of skill! Marilyn Ryan is a fiber artist who creates her beautiful pieces by hand on a loom. From colorful hand woven scarves to cheerful cotton dish towels, Marilyn combines colors and pattern to make pieces that are both beautiful and functional. We especially love how every combination is a little different! Her scarves are a wonderful way to wear handmade art, while her cotton towels add a colorful handcrafted touch to your kitchen.

There's something special about seeing a beautiful piece of wood transformed in the hands of a skilled craftsman. Doug Brinks has been turning wood for many years, creating one-of-a-kind pieces that showcase the incredible grain, color and character found in each piece of wood. From beautifully turned bowls and jewelry holders, to striking sculptural pieces, Doug lets the natural qualities of the wood become an important part of each design. Some pieces even incorporate resin, adding another dimension to the organic forms. Both functional and artistic, every piece is truly unique.

Celebrating twenty years at Gallery Uptown!
We are delighted to celebrate watercolor artist, Linda Foley who has been part of Gallery Uptown for an incredible twenty years. Linda's beautiful watercolors filled with color, movement and atmosphere. Her use of watercolor pouring techniques allows pigments to flow and mingle, creating the luminous colors and unexpected effects that make her work so distinctive.
Thank you, Linda for sharing your creativity and beautiful work with Gallery Uptown for two wonderful decades. ❤

Anne Rivers
Bold, colorful, and full of energy! Anne Rivers creates vibrant abstract acrylic paintings filled with expressive color and movement.
But Anne's creativity goes well beyond the canvas. She also designs handcrafted jewelry using copper, silver, and brass, and even transforms images of her original paintings into beautiful cotton scarves. Wear one as a colorful piece of art - or hang it on the wall!

Bold color, playful subjects and plenty of personality - that's the work of Gallery Uptown artist Jan McLaughlin!
Jan's vibrant acrylic paintings celebrate everything from lush florals to fabulous pink flamingos, all brought to life with her joyful use of color. And her creativity doesn't stop at canvas. Jan also creates one of a kind, handmade amulets, combining tiny beadwork with vintage beads and antique pins to give each piece its own unique character and history.
