Trivia Cat fans… the time has come for another Trivia Cat Championship Event! This time it will be a Trivia Night (General Trivia) Championship event! In years past we have had a Music Trivia Championship Event as well as a Movie Trivia Championship event. Now it is time for the general trivia brainiacs to shine! And more importantly, this is an opportunity to bring teams together from all over the world (or maybe just West Michigan) to meet and greet and socialize and have a quizzical good time!
Due to limited event space, this will be an invitation-only event. The top teams (as determined by the last set of published Trivia Night Rankings through Vol 165). NOTE: Future rankings will NOT have an impact on what teams receive invites, I’m just using the rankings published last Sunday, Aug 23rd, to determine invitations). Teams will be notified soon (hopefully within the next couple of days). Of course, I will do everything I can to accommodate as many teams as possible – for now I’m waiting for RSVPs from select Trivia Cat Patreon supporters who have received an automatic invitation. Once I have all of those RSVPs, then I’ll know how much room we’ll have to invite more teams. I’ll go down the rankings, starting from the top, and invite as many teams as possible! How deep we make it into the rankings will depend on how many teams are able to participate and whether or not they will be fielding a full team of six or not.
General Trivia Championship Event – Invitation Only
Location: Rockford Corner Bar (upstairs in their private event space)
Date: Saturday, October 17th
Time: 5:00pm - 9:30pm (trivia will start at 7:00pm, food will be served beforehand... perhaps around 5:30pm)
Cost: $25 per person (will cover food and fountain drinks)
Team Size Limit: 6 people per team (due to the table size and to allow as many teams as possible to participate)
Food & Drink: There will be a buffet with a variety of food options. Food and fountain beverages are included with your $25
Prizes: There will be some Funko prizes and gift cards, just like a regular Trivia Cat event!
Other: Participants will also receive a one-of-a-kind collectible Trivia Cat pin that you can’t even buy on eBay!
