Workshops at various times. located at 1113 Washington St. Patricia, who signs her art “tia,” produces works of sensitive portraits, emotional attitudes, beckoning landscapes, and intimate interiors. She feels that her art is taking her on a journey, one that she will travel all her life. She enjoys the seasonal changes in her lakeside home town in western Michigan, but also enjoys traveling and h
as been touched by Paris,and embraced Italy. Though taking up art late in her life, those that know her well, will attest to her onward drive in pursuing her personal education and her insatiable appetite when it comes to learning the various aspects in acquiring her skills. With each step she takes, each painting she produces you can see her advancing in talent and abilities. Friends and fellow artists have been delighted with the mood she captures in her portraits. She has studied with local artists Rob Michmerhuizen, Kevin Myers and Howard Garet. She has also attended workshops taught by artists: Kathy Putnam, Diane Olson, Collin Fry, received instruction from several nationally know artists; Annie Morgan, Jim Markle, Larry Blovits, Bill Hosner, Gil Dillenger, Paul Levelle, Alan Flattmann, Doug Dawson and Clayton Beck III and Lou Rizzolo. She has been involved with various galleries and arts organizations.
