There’s no way to ease into this, is there?

There have been a lot of changes, both magnificent and heartbreaking, for our little studio family over the past few years. And we have done our level best to march on through them and keep the studio doors open. But, in the wake of COVID, we have had to pause and have had a lot of time to reflect. And we have learned quite a bit in that process.

It is time to truly move forward, instead of clinging to good memories and wishful thinking.

Therefore: the studio will be closing – classes will not be coming back in January, as anticipated. You may still see us performing, now and again. We don’t intend to stop dancing, after all 😁 but we do need to step away from teaching for the time being.

We wish you all stay safe and healthy - and hopefully we can dance together again some day 💗

With all that said, a few pieces of business:

💃🏻 Wait, I still have classes on my pass/a gift certificate - what now? 💃🏻

Well, there are a few options, including getting some of our remaining merch or setting up private lessons. If you still have a pass or gifted classes, shoot us a message and we can find the best option for you.

✨ So, what’s happening to the studio space? ✨

Great question! Amanda has been managing the studio for a looooong time, and will be taking it over as a space to continue offering readings and services. So, of course, you are more than welcome to follow along for that journey over at Amanda Burke - Midwest Priestess.

What a blessing her light has been to our community ❤️

We are deeply saddened by Megha's passing. She touched countless hearts and left an indelible mark on our dance.

We are so grateful to have shared in her light.

Good Morning Lovelies!

In the wake of recent events, an update is in order: We will be taking this week off from classes to allow everyone to rest, replenish, and stay safe and healthy. This is not a decision made lightly, nor with an “abundance of caution” but rather an abundance of compassion 💗

We are planning to resume classes next week, but please remember that this is an ongoing and rapidly changing set of circumstances – Stay informed, but do not drown in fear or uncertainties. And remember - you class passes do not expire! So if you’ve paid ahead for classes, they will still be waiting for you in April 🎉

That said, students, make sure to check in to the Student Lounge for some extra at-home practices – the marvel of dance is that it can be done anywhere 💃🏻

Lots of changes happening - thoughtful and inclusive changes.

We have always been very upfront about the fact that we are *not* a Partner Studio (yet 🤩), but our love for this dance style is deep.

Updates will be coming to the Tuesday class in the next few weeks - though, at its core, it will still be the same marvelous group improv style that you know and love.
