If you've ever fallen down the rabbit hole of watching those over-the-top Southern sorority Bid Day reveals, you know they can transform an ENTIRE house. 😂🎈

We weren't covering any houses from roofline to sidewalk here in Grand Forks yesterday... but we DID have the pleasure of helping two sororities make a pretty fabulous entrance for their newest members. 💕

🫖 “DEE GEE is our cup of tea” for Delta Gamma brought teapots, teacups, florals and the sweetest pink and yellow palette.

🌴 And Gamma Phi Beta was giving us Palm Springs with bright pink, green and white.

Two houses. Two completely different themes. Two big balloon arches ready to welcome a whole lot of excited new members.

And really, that's what I love most about celebrations. They don't have to look like anyone else's to feel extraordinary. 💕

Congratulations to all the new members! I hope Bid Day was the beginning of some wonderful friendships and memories.

I think sometimes this is what life with God feels like.

We’re standing right in the middle of it, looking at the unfinished pieces and wondering how any of it is supposed to come together.

But we only see what’s right in front of us.

God sees the whole picture.

He sees where we’ve been, where we are, and what He’s preparing us for next.

Faith doesn’t always mean understanding the plan, it simply means trusting the One who does.

So if you’re in an “unfinished” season right now, maybe this reminder is for you, too:

Keep trusting. Keep praying. Keep taking the next step.

God isn’t finished yet. 🩷

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” — 2 Corinthians 5:7

Good Samaritan Society – Heritage Grove is celebrating 100% occupancy, and I had the pleasure of creating this celebration stand to help mark the occasion.

I love getting requests like this. Birthdays and anniversaries may be the celebrations we think of first, but sometimes the milestones inside our businesses and organizations deserve a little confetti, too. 💙✨

✈️ Adventure awaits! 🌎

We had the opportunity to add a little extra adventure to UND’s Study Abroad Fair again this year, and this is such a fun event to decorate for.

Airplanes flying overhead, globes lining the walkway, flags from around the world, passports and luggage tags tucked into the balloons…and even one VERY tall balloon traveler who looks ready to catch his flight. 😂

I love when décor gets to do more than simply fill a space. It can help tell the story of an event and make people feel like they’ve stepped into the experience before it even begins.

Because sometimes turning an ordinary space into something extraordinary just takes a little imagination…and a whole lot of balloons. ✈️🌎

Sometimes I say yes before I have any idea HOW we're going to do it. 😂🎈

Back in September 2021, the Grand Forks Public Library asked if we could create a balloon version of their new pink twisty slide for their parade float.

Of course I said yes.

Did I know exactly how we were going to build a giant twisty slide out of balloons?

Absolutely not. 😂

But thankfully, I had Rebekah.

She was only 16 years old at the time, and I have to give her the credit for this one. There wasn't a tutorial to follow or another balloon slide we were trying to recreate. She figured out the structure, the shape and how we could actually make this crazy idea work.

I have always loved that about her. Over the years, I could bring her an idea—or agree to something slightly ridiculous 😆—and she would help me figure out how we could actually pull it off.

And somehow… she turned a pile of pink balloons into a twisty slide. 💗

Five years later, I still think this was one of the coolest things we ever made.

And seeing the REAL pink slide at the library now makes this throwback even better. ➡️

The school year just kicked off — and I've already had families reaching out about balloon décor for their grad.

Honestly? I love that. Because the earlier they're thinking about it, the less stressful it is when the time comes.

Here's how our process works: when you schedule, you fill in a few details about your grad and pick a price tier that fits your budget. That's it. From there, I use everything you share to design something custom — something that actually reflects your person and their moment.

You won't get a mockup. But I can promise you this: what shows up will be theirs. Not a template. Not something I made for three other parties this season. Something built specifically for them.

Usually, that’s just good life advice. 😂

But if you’re a current UND student, Taco John’s is making it a little more literal.
