I tested this pattern for a Journey C. Designs. It took me just over 22 hours and was so fun to make.

Is anyone else participating in Marly Bird’s Game Day Mystery Make-Along? I’m going to try to do both the knit and crochet projects. I grabbed my yarn from my stash instead of ordering the recommended yarn.

Update- I decided not to do the knit version. I don’t really care for how it turns out.

Happy Birthday month to my favorite yarn dyer!

Tir na nÓg is known as the Land of Youth in Irish culture. The realm of everlasting youth, beauty, health, and abundance; a realm of no age or decay, falsehood, sadness, gloom, hatred, or envy. [Wikipedia] This colorway is a special PRE-ORDER only colorway to celebrate my 40th birthday. My favorite color is green, so I decided to create a special colorway around it. Tir na nÓg is a mixture of a spearmint green speckled with two more shades of green, little speckles of purple (with bits of blue and pink where the dye broke) and golden toffee.

Pre-order opens February 3rd 2025 and will close on February 10th at 11:59pm Central. Skeins ordered will be dyed in the order they are received. Shipping is expected to begin around February 24th. All yarn base options are $28 per skein. Available to order on sock, sport, DK, and worsted weight.
