The Stroll. 20x20 Acrylic on Canvas.

This painting was inspired by walking to the Town Square Farmers Market on a warm summer morning and passing places that have become part of our routines over the years. The Hub is one of my husband’s and my favorite lunch spots, a place we sometimes get to sneak away to for a lunch date, and where I almost always order the shrimp tacos. More than anything, though, this painting is about the feeling of summer in our town and taking the time to appreciate these simple, ordinary days while they’re here.

This one officially made its way to Kentucky 🤍

Title: Here’s to Us!

This piece was based on a really meaningful moment at the Buena Vista Café in San Francisco—right after a wedding. I loved getting to bring that story into the painting.

This piece was a commission with a really meaningful story behind it.

The setting is the Buena Vista Café in San Francisco, which has so much character, especially at night. It’s also known for introducing Irish coffee to the United States, which made it an especially fun place to paint.

I spent some time in that area during my military service, so it was nice to revisit it in a different way through this piece. I loved working with the contrast of the warm light in the window against the movement and reflections outside.

It’s one of those paintings where I got to capture a story of love without saying too much.
