Hollywood should make this movie! Hear me out. A Quiet Winter is a short film I directed - but it could be a feature. The story: A mother, trapped in a desolate winter wasteland, separated from her family, unsure if they're dead or alive - longing to get back to them. Battling the fear of the unknown and the question: will she succumb to grief or find the will to move on? My take on this as the director follows in the vein of a film like Train Dreams or Into the Wild. Rather than focusing on the existential crisis, I'd focus on the human soul - and paint a picture that transports the audience into the character's world. If you wanna watch the short film, go to the Mad Foxes YouTube channel. And if you wanna see us make this original feature film, post in the comments and tag your favorite film company.
