For nearly five years, the Jazz Society of Hood County has been bringing outstanding live jazz to our community through the Granbury Jazz Fest and inspiring young musicians through Jazz in Class.
Each year, Jazz in Class sends a professional jazz band into Granbury High School, Granbury Middle School, and Acton Middle School to perform, teach, and encourage students to appreciate jazz — a truly American art form that continues to influence music around the world.
The Granbury Jazz Fest, held every year on the last Saturday in February, is a completely free community festival celebrating multiple jazz styles, supporting local businesses through tourism, strengthening community connection, and giving talented musicians a place to share their craft.
The Jazz Society of Hood County is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and all donations are tax-deductible. The festival itself is organized entirely by volunteers who give their time and energy simply because they believe in music, education, and community.
We are committed to keeping these programs free and accessible, and your support makes that possible.
Please consider making a one-time, monthly, or yearly donation.
Every gift helps us continue music education in our schools and bring live jazz to Granbury for years to come.
Thank you for supporting the arts in Hood County.
