School's out (or nearly out) for Summer! Celebrate while creating an acrylic painting on canvas with a fun summer theme during Middle School Arts & Crafts class on Saturday, June 13. During this 2-hour class, you'll engage with other Middle Schoolers and enjoy creating a canvas that will remind you of summer.

Teens will enjoy creating pottery pieces around a theme during Recovering Clay Studio's "Create and Connect Teens Night." These nights happen once a month on Fridays from 6:30 - 8:30pm and give teens an opportunity to create and engage with one another in a judgement free zone.
Attend one night or them all. No matter what, it'll be a great time!

Middle School Aged Students - Don't miss out on our 6-week "Fine Art Tuesdays" series beginning on June 16. During this series, you'll explore a variety of techniques in drawing, colored pencil, mixed media and more!

Make plans to head out to Red Oak on Thursday, June 11 for Art After Hours. Enjoy live music from Chris and Bonnie Reed, meet our New Executive Director, partake in some art trivia and rock painting and visit one of the food trucks on site. We'll even have some drawings! (And, Red Oak's Griffith Fine Art Gallery will be open - view the works of art from the NC Watercolor Society.)
