Thank you to everyone who came out last night (09/05) for Monsters, Inc. at Movies in the Park! The rain moved out, making for a beautiful evening under the stars. We hope everyone had a great time! Next Saturday, 09/12, join us for Toy Story!

Join Graham Recreation & Parks on Saturday evenings throughout September for Movies in the Park! The movie begins around 7:30, depending on sunset. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy a free family movie night under the stars! The concession tent will be open with popcorn, drinks, candy, and glow-in-the-dark necklaces available for purchase. Cash and VISA/Mastercard are accepted. The Park & Play Mobile Recreation Van will also be on-site with fun activities for the whole family!

The City of Graham invites you to join us on Saturday, September 12, for the 6th Annual 9/11 Commemorative 5K Event, a meaningful community event coordinated by Graham Recreation & Parks, the Graham Fire Department, and the Graham Police Department.

Not ready for the full 5K? No problem! Our Non-Competitive 1-Mile Run/Walk is a great option for all ages and fitness levels. Whether you choose to run, walk, or simply come out to support your community, everyone is welcome!

Two more concerts to go this season! The Thursdays at Seven Concert Series is back on September 10 & 24 from 7:00pm - 9:00pm! We can’t wait to welcome everyone to West Elm Street for two more evenings filled with live music, community fun, and great summer entertainment. Bring your friends, enjoy the music, and make the most of the final concerts of the season!

Alamance Adventure Race
Date: Saturday, September 26, 2026
Times: 8:00am - 8:00pm
Kick-Off & Wrap-Up Party Location: Bill Cooke Park

Get ready for a day of adventure across Alamance County! The Alamance Adventure Race is a 12-hour county-wide team challenge where participants use an app to navigate to checkpoints throughout the county and complete a variety of unique challenges.

Each challenge is worth different points based on its location, difficulty, and incentives. Teams will strategize, explore, and compete to earn as many points as possible before time runs out. The team with the most points at the end of the race wins! Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams.
