We started our morning off with the walkthrough for our two students competing at the state competition tomorrow. Heading to Mandan for the competition! Congratulations to Vangie Larson and Bryce Kringstad for qualifying for state.

We competed at our Regional tournament at Northwood this past Saturday. We have Bryce Kringstad who is a regional champion in Extemporaneous Speaking and will be competing at the state tournament. We also have Vangie Larson who took second place in the category of Inform. She will also be competing at the state competition. Congratulations to all of these kids and all of the hard work that they have put in this season!

We competed at the Grand Forks Speech Classic today at Red River High School. This was a Class A meet so I am very proud of everyone who participated! Grand Forks always has a saying for their meet, todays saying was “Mountains of Words”

We competed at the MPCG Speech meet on February 24. We had Vangie Larson who state qualified for inform again and Bryce Kringstad who state qualified for Extemporaneous Speaking. We also took 3rd overall today at the meet. Unfortunately we do not have the trophy as Bryce lost in rock paper scissors to Park River who we tied with. We will be getting a trophy later.

We have 5/10 of our speech kids who have state qualified already this year!!

We had our “Sweet Starter” speech meet at Dakota Prairie (In Petersburg) on January 27th. We had all nine students compete.
