Pianist Zaccai Curtis, bassist Luques Curtis, and drummer Richie Barshay have been playing together since they were preteens jamming as a band called Latin Flavor at Litchfield Jazz Camp. Now they return to the Mainstage of the 31st Annual Litchfield Jazz Festival as acclaimed professional musicians—and one of the great origin stories in the Camp’s 30-year history. All three are long-time Litchfield Jazz Camp faculty members. Zaccai recently won the 2025 GRAMMY for Best Latin Jazz Album with Cubop Lives!
