Cute animal alert!!! Some of the best moments here are the quiet ones. No pony ride, no hayride, just a curious little face coming over to see who you are.

The petting zoo is where most kids slow down. They come in wanting the big animals and then spend twenty minutes here instead.

There's a moment right after families walk in when the kids just stop and stare.

The longhorns are out. The ponies are saddled. Somebody has already spotted the wild west town and is asking how fast they can get to it.

You can't plan that moment. You just get to watch it happen.

Meet the crew that has been running the welcome committee all summer.

The alpacas are still going by "the alpacas." The goats have plenty to say and none of it is polite. And then there is Baby Donkey, who does not have a real name yet, so Baby Donkey he remains. Honestly, it fits.

Those horns stop kids mid sentence every single time.

Texas Longhorns are the real deal, and that is exactly why they are here. When you build a wild west town, you do not fill it with any cow you can find.
