Yesterday was not the best day for the 05 team. With it being a non points night I wasn’t going to race so I could help out my friends. But when I realized it was uncle Rex’s birthday weekend I decided to race. While dad had the car unloaded he put it on the lift to find out why the left rear was shaking and we found out it was a bent axle. So when we were in search of a new axle our buddy Kenton came through and had Tire Star get us a new axle to race. I also have to thank A&A tree service for sponsoring us tires for this week. With every thing ready to go, Saturday I went out there and did my thing. When the feature rolled around I was being a bit cautious with a new driver, My buddy Evan, on the track as I remember how it was for me when I started. I had a bit of help spinning out on the backstretch but was able to get my spot back. I struggled but tried everything I could to get my uncle Rex a win for his birthday but just couldn’t get it done and finished 9th in the feature.
I was so thankful to have Aunt Sue, Brandi, Jake, Emma, Aunt Sherry and Sonya come spend the evening with us at the track. I know Uncle Rex was right there with us too
