🇺🇲(ENGLISH): HUGE thanks to all of the military families and veterans who attended today's Elkhart County Stand Down event at Ox Bow Park. This couldn't have happen without any of you, Goodwill Industries of Michiana, Inc., Goodwill's Veterans Resource Network Elkhart County Parks, sponsors, volunteers, staff, visitors, and everybody else! I had so much fun face painting the kids and adults! Shout out to Diana’s Art From The Heart for giving me some company, taking pictures, and cheering for me!! I enjoyed having you over my friend!

⛈️(ENGLISH): Due to severe weather predictions, tomorrow's Free Fishing Clinic has been postponed. Keep an eye out for a rescheduled date. Wishing everyone an amazing weekend! Stay dry friends.

⛈️(ESPAÑOL): Debido a los pronósticos de mal clima, el evento Free Fishing Clinic de mañana ha sido pospuesta. Estén atentos a la nueva fecha. ¡Les deseo a todos un fin de semana fantástico! ¡Cuídense y manténganse secos, amigos!

‼️EVENT UPDATE‼️

Due to the projected weather forecast, the Kids Free Fishing Clinic tomorrow will be postponed.

We are really sad to make this decision as so many people are so excited for this event every year. We tried to hold off on postponing just in case the weather ended up working in our favor, but Mother Nature has other plans. In order to keep city staff, volunteers, and participants safe, we have decided to postpone this event.

We will be looking at possible dates for rescheduling the fishing clinic!

🎣 Our Kids Free Fishing Clinic is happening this Saturday and we need YOUR help to make it a success! 🐟

This family-friendly event features stations where kids learn about different principles of fishing, and we need some wonderful volunteers to help lead them!

🎣Stewardship Station 🎣
Volunteers will teach kids about how to become good stewards of the environment (e.g. not leaving trash behind, limiting take, helping to stop the spread of invasive species, etc.) and how to safely handle the fish (e.g. keep fish in water if possible, keep fish horizontal while supporting the belly of the fish, etc.).

Thank you, Vanessa, for opening your beautiful farm for us (the vendors) to showcase our services/products! This event gets more better by the year! Shout out to my friends from the The Coffee Pot for hooking me up with their delicious caramel iced coffee!! I love seeing you ladies each year!! Plus, thanks to Rico Suave Group LLC for their mouthwatering chicken tamal! Lastly, thanks to All Things Snacks for the yummy free puffcorn samples! See everyone next year!

🥳(ENGLISH): These past of couple days have been incredibly fun! Thanks to Woodland Elementary School for counting on my quick & easy designs for their Final Launch event! Next, thanks to the two wonderful families who hired me for their kids parties (a first communion party and a birthday party)! I appreciate all the love and support from all of you!

🥳(ESPAÑOL): ¡Estos últimos días han sido increíblemente divertidos! ¡Gracias a la Escuela Primaria Woodland (Woodland Elementary School) por confiar en mis diseños rápidos y sencillos para su evento llamado el Final Launch!
