What a fintastic finale for the 80th Annual Mermaid Festival! The day was full of smiles, of joyful surprise, and of pure happiness. It was truly wonderful shellebrating with everyone.

We even had a lovely visit with members of the The Purple Pirate Sideshow Circus 💜☠️💜 and made a new merfriend named JESSA THE BEARDED LADY 🧜🏼‍♀️

Thank you to all who came to "sea" us at the Mermaid Festival this year. We hope to swim by again next year!

Day 3 in the books! What a splendiferous day! So many smiley faces, looks of surprise and wonder, and just beautiful moments to cherish.

I miss being able to wander through the festival like I did when I was younger, but I wouldn't trade these memories. We'll see what the future brings, but I'm enjoying the moment.

One more day, fishies. Then, the 80th Annual Mermaid Festival comes to an end. I don't think I'll make the parade this year, but I'll enjoy the small parade of smiling faces passing by my booth.

Thank you to Nereid Studios for creating such beautiful tails. Folks have loved them all week! I can't wait to see what's next!

Day 2 of the 80th Annual Mermaid Festival!

Today was a beautiful reminder that I do this because I love it still. I love mermaiding. I love wearing a tail. I love making people's eyes light up. I love making memories for others. It brings me joy. ✨️🥰✨️

So! I'm looking forward to the last two days of the festival. They may be tiring. They may wear me out. But I'm so glad I'm doing this. In my new Nereid Studios tail, no less! 🪼🪸

It's O-FISH-AL!! Representing the today, we are the official mermaids of the 80th Annual Mermaid Festival!

I've attended this treasure of a festival since I was a guppy. I always dreamed of being a mermaid at this event. And now I can say I accomplished that. At the 80th shellebration no less!

My mermaid heart is full. 🥰

And of course, no mermaid mischief would be complete without Nereid Studios tails! 🧜🏻‍♀️

Believe it or not, this is a side by side of a remake of my first ever Nereid Studios tail (customized Winter Mirage) next to my newest tail.

I've had a rough last 12 months. A lot of personal and professional experiences that were emotional and energy draining. And in that mix, I didn't have it in me to mermaid. Which tells you how dried up this fish has been.

But it is a new mermaid season, and I hope to slowly swim back into action. So here's to a fintastic mermaid summer, whether there's pictures and posing, library reading, or deep diving and swimming. I'll take what I can make.

And lots of love to Roy Tiffany Neo and the whole Nereid Studios team. 🥰🥰🥰 They abshellutely put their heart and fins into their work, their relationships, and their company. I'm so glad I get to represent them. 🧜🏻‍♀️ Thank you for continuing to cheer this fish on.
