It’s October! That means it’s Down Syndrome Awareness Month. I have so many amazing, talented, kind, beautiful, and caring friends that also happen to have Down Syndrome. It is one of my life’s greatest joys to spend my time with such wonderful people.
Down Syndrome Awareness Month is a great time to teach your children, and even educate yourself, about what it means to have Downs and to remember that we are all unique and special, and that everyone deserves love and kindness!

Hi everyone,

I wanted to give you all an update. As some of you know, I was in a car accident on July 22, 2024. Thankfully, I'm on the mend, but it’s been a slower recovery than I expected.

Because of this, I haven’t been able to get back to our art lessons as quickly as I’d like. I’m really eager to start working with all of you again, but I need a bit more time to fully heal. I’ll be slowly adding clients back into my schedule as my body allows, so I appreciate your patience as I navigate this process.

Thank you so much for your understanding. I miss our sessions and can’t wait to dive back into our creative projects together as soon as I’m able.

Thank you to all my clients and families for allowing me flexibly in my work to take these past two weeks off for a visit to the PNW! I was able to visit several art museums and galleries, and I had a tour of Seattle to view graffiti art by Ryan “Henry” Ward. I am feeling refreshed and full of new ideas for my art ventures at home!
