A greeting card I designed for my sister-in-law who had a double lung transplant a few months ago. I got to visit her last month and it was so great to see her physically well, walking so fast I couldn’t keep up, and laughing without coughing.

I had samples printed of a couple of greeting card designs to potential add to my Etsy shop. This design is from my vintage florals collection. The cards are blank inside making them great to give for any occasion or celebration.

I love how this one turned out printed in matte cardstock.

I received this fun delivery the other day. I was so excited I couldn’t even open the package properly! 😆

I wanted to change some of the colours so I’ve just ordered another sample. But I hope to show you the final version and have this calendar up in my Etsy shop soon!!!

I’ll be adding more products to my Etsy shop soon too and can’t wait to share them with you here.

I shared a little peek of this design in my story but here’s the finished design. It’s one of the designs that I submitted to the Minted Pottery Barn Kids Pottery Barn Teen art print challenge.

I don’t submit to challenges often but this one was too exciting to skip. After reading the brief I had so many ideas so I spent the week designing as many as I could. It took a lot of late nights, and hours of sketching, designing, and refining but it felt so amazing to pour that much time into designing again.

The past couple of weeks I’ve been deep in creation mode. My mind is spinning with ideas. My list of ideas and edits keeps growing. 😆

After posting the collection on my feed yesterday I couldn’t stop thinking about turning these little cuties into stand alone illustrations for products like greeting cards, invites, and wall art. Here are some ideas I’ve been working on today.

But I need your help... Do you have any favorites? And is there a Bible verse, greeting, quote you would love to see with these designs?

Anyone else find it funny that one of them is going the opposite way? That’s me… I was that child. Ok, ok, I till am! 🤣

I gave this collection a tiny little refresh. Calling it done for now, again. 😆 I still think the little geese with their patterned scarves and mother goose with her hat are so cute. ☺️

I remember when I was first working on this collection last year, my niece was visiting and she helped me pick colors for the hero design. She loved (and still loves) the pattern.

I really like having the geese pulled out as standalone illustrations too. Could be cute as greeting card designs, maybe for Mother’s Day?

Sharing a little behind the scenes of a recent trailing floral pattern.

This design took a few rounds to get it right and now looking at the finished pattern I’m thinking about redoing it one more time! 🤪

I took my sketch from Procreate into Adobe Fresco and drew over it with their awesome vector brushes before taking it into Adobe Illustrator to build the repeating pattern. There’s always LOTS of teo-tap undos when I’m working on my apple iPad.

That lovely paper sound in the background is my Paperlike screen protector. I literally can’t live without it.

This design took me way too long to finish. With a crazy start to the year with community support work, some travel in between, family visits, and a last minute trip back home to England, the 3 design collections I’ve been working on have taken me so much longer than I’d planned. But sometimes life throws unexpected things your way and you’ve just gotta go with it the best you can. 😅

This ornamental design is part of a Christmas collection I am working on. I have created it in two versions - one with Season’s Greetings hand-lettered in the middle and another with a simple floral design in the centre.
