Goodness me, it has been a CRAZY busy month and there are so many exciting things going on in the background.

Before we get well into the Immersion course with , I wanted to share one of those exciting things. This year Bonnie has introduced a new tier of support in her Immersion course, the Course Coach Experience. I feel so blessed and honored to be a Coach in the course this year!

I spent a lot of the last couple of weeks meeting and getting to know the students I will be coaching. I’m already so excited to support them through the course and watch their progress through and beyond the course.

I love supporting other artists and designers as they are starting and growing their business, and getting to watch and celebrate their successes as they dare to do big and scary things! 🥰

It’s so wild to look back and see the ways God has been leading and preparing me for this role and all the other work I am doing. 💖

Feeling so honored to have one of my designs featured in ’s 2026 Trend Report. This was the first year Cat featured artwork by students in her private community for her annual trend report. It’s so exciting to see one of my designs in there alongside some of the talented artists from the CatCoq Collective!

I feel so blessed to be able to work with creatives that care so deeply about teaching and helping other artists grow. Cat is not only such a talented artist, she is incredibly supportive, a complete open book, and SUCH a joy to work with. So excited to welcome new students into her community very soon! 🥰

This was my last collection of 2025. Each pattern was inspired by lessons taught in course, Repertoire. As part of the course there was an opportunity to pitch our collections to and of course I challenged myself to complete it so I could submit to them.

After finishing and submitting the collection I spent the rest of December reflecting on the year, planning, completely reorganizing my digital and physical space, and preparing for a very busy few months.

For the first time since starting my business I took time off with no travel plans. I took time off to do tasks around the house that I never make time for and to learn how to cook some foods that I miss from back home… and it was SO fun!

A few weeks ago I shared my Thanks A Bunch Card design with these lemons. Of course I had to create a pattern to go with it and here it is…

I had the Thanks A Bunch printed to give out as postcards to each customer at the craft fair with a little hand-written note. They turned out really cute. Swipe to see how they turned out.

Maybeee one day this will be a full collection but for now an illustration with a matching pattern is what I have. 😆

I had so much fun designing these cards, along with some other designs for a challenge. None of my designs got picked but it was such a nice challenge to push myself to create a few cards with a tight deadline - I didn’t see the challenge until a week or two before the deadline.

It’s amazing what you can accomplish with a deadline and challenging yourself. 😆

A collection I designed inspired by historical pattern styles. I created all of these patterns from lessons I took with (aka the master of pattern history and design). 😆

About a year ago I finally got the opportunity to sign up to course, Repertoire. I can’t believe the difference in my work since taking this course. SO embarrassing to even share these but I hope it shows you what’s possible when you learn new techniques and skills. 😳🙈😆
