Fighting Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma Cancer, the size of a tennis ball in my left lower lung lobe and now in some of my lymph glands.
Today was the last of four weekly, 6 hour days at the City of Hope with Georgia getting my infusion of Rituxan, Immunology. Most folks ask, what is the difference between immunology and chemotherapy? Immunotherapy teaches healthy cells to recognize the cancer cells and stop their growth. That is, chemotherapy directly degrades cancerous cells and tumors, while immunotherapy jump-starts the immune system to work smarter and harder to fight the cancer on its own.
Next step is to get radiation to hopefully destroy all the cancer cells. Five days a week for five weeks. Yipee!

The happiest day of my life. Georgia, I wish I had met you sooner, so that I could have loved you longer. On Friday, December 3, 1965, the wedding was perfect, it was like we planned it for months, instead of a week. As you can see, our parents were very happy to get rid of us love birds, hanging around the house hugging and kissing all the time. SanGeo became one.

One of the most significant changes in my life is having the ability to find, text or call anyone, anywhere in the world today, with my iPhone. My first experience with communicating over a telephone, was about 70 years ago when we lived with my Grandmother. She had a 3 party dial type phone that I thought was really high tech. Well, it really was at that time.

I'm writing a book mostly to help me recover from a head injury that has left me with T.B.I (Traumatic Brain Damage). My Neurologist, Optometrist and Brain Therapist love the idea and encourage me to continue.  I welcome you to read, comment, contribute to or share this book as it is being written....
