One magical post-apocalyptic evening...
All the highlights from the first Fallout for Hope Gala for the Mountaineer FoodBank at

Massive thanks to , whose donated handmade crafts for the silent auction made a huge difference. There are few people in this community who possess such incredible attention to detail outside of Amazon's own set designers. His stunning displays in the lobby inspired by and Fallout on Prime became a focal point in the lobby.

Additional thanks to the who entire crew brought out an ARMY of Power Armor, immersive displays and their massive Vault door set piece that served as the grand entrance.

We can't recommend enough the world class who brought such an air of class and harmony to the proceedings. The Brasset Hounds who really delivered toe tapping brass notes to round out the evening.

And the entire Nuka Court community group who worked for weeks creating regal outfits inspired by different flavors of Nuka Cola.

✨5,124 of you attended Wasteland Jamboree and took over Braxton County, West Virginia

✨100% of accommodations sold out (within a 40 minute drive radius)

✨You donated $33,264 to charity* breakdown below, including Buttered Popcorn following through on their promise of 50% of event proceeds after expenses to the Mountaineer FoodBank (a direct donation of $15,000), plus $5,000 donated to the Flatwoods VFD, and $2850 to the Braxton County High School Baseball Team

✨Braxton County datapoints tracked in partnership with the state and local businesses recorded a ground shaking $2.35 million dollar direct economic impact. This is equivalent to 20–29% of Braxton County's entire annual tourism spend, generated in 48 hours on the region's historically lowest-traffic non-winter weekend. In short, you erased for many family-owned businesses their losses over the winter.

Wasteland Jamboree will welcome you back to camp in June of 2028

Q: Why the skip year?
A: Some of our team and volunteers run Power Armor Festival in Point Pleasant coming up next year on April 24th and 25th and we agreed from the beginning that we wouldn't trample on each with with a community event in West Virginia in the same year.

Additionally next year is a landmark year for all things post-apocalyptic - and we're planning something you won't believe. Because of the scope and complexity of what this is...we're already planning it and it'll also require a lot of resources. Stay tuned...

We've finished crunching the numbers and we can't wait to share with you just how big an impact you had on Braxton County and all the charitable causes you tackled.

Massive props to our Security and Safety Director John Hoffman, whose credentials range from the US Coast Guard to Homeland Security, and Emergency Management. He oversaw one of the most comprehensive multi-agency security preparedness plans with security provided by the West Virginia State Police, Sheriff's Office, local police and Braxton County Emergency Management.

While these agencies don't often comment on emergency procedures, they gave a peek into the command center they activated onsite to keep Wastelanders safe throughout the event.
