Wrapping up at the studio and realized that 3 of the High School Seniors I photographed today are siblings of grads I photographed in the past. And a 4th, I photographed his mother’s headshots not long ago.
I love this! Being part of a community where I get to see people grow up and hear their stories of what happened next. Reconnect and celebrate together. Thank you for welcoming me.

One of my students caught me at work 🫣 in the Survivor's Photo Tent at Making Strides in Flint. I love this event. The stories of loss break my heart, but the pride in fighting for others and the smiles of Survivor's support people is beautiful. Seeing the community come together for such an important cause fills my heart.

A family of beautiful women joined me at the studio for a Muse Portrait Experience. We played dress up with every kind of outfit. From ones that reminded us of travels once upon a time, to favorites sports and new career goals, the we topped of off with gowns and flowers.

I’ll be at the studio early resetting since we basically turned the place upside down, and I still have wagons packed from last weekend. It’s been a busy but wonderful week of beautiful photography.

"I want photos on a lake and a rustic farm with a wildflower field." Say less!
We scoured the county to find the perfect location and it was right beneath out noses. First stop was Metamora-Hadley Recreation Area. Then we swung across the street to Sunset Acres Farm for the most amazingly perfect rustic charm. An absolute photographer's playground and EXACTLY what this beautiful Senior was looking for. We have so many more pictures we want to share from this new location on our faves list.
