Special events and rentals "now and then" :) Music City Raceway is an IHRA sanctioned 1/8 mile drag racing or drag strip in Nashville, Tennessee. Known as Nashville's "Playground of Power" races Tuesday Friday, Saturday & some Sundays - IHRA - International Hot Rod Association Member. Runs Jet Cars, Funny Cars, Street Legal Hot Rods, Import racing, and competes with regional/local NASCAR, SCCA and

various speedway, stock car and round track venues. Big Buck races such as the Beech Bend 10-G, $5K Races, Big Bucks Bikes are hosted along with Street Legal Winners, Jr. Dragster, Motorcycle and Pinky's races along with Bowling Green Harley Races. Classes of Super Pro, Pro, Sportsman, Street Legal Trophy, Jr. Dragster, Pro Motorcycle, Trophy, Street Legal, 6.0 Heads Up & Super Street Series and national event classes of Super Gas are run throughout the year.

Trophy Win Kitty Martin (Dakota Adams), Street Bike Win TJ McCaulie (Tom McGuire) and Super Street Win Kitty Martin (Dakota Adams). Not a typo and they BOTH get to the finals in BOTH - SS Points bunching up at the top.

Latinos bring the Rapido Y Furioso to lanes 3 & 4.

Dakota Adams make moves up - and Donnie Smith makes an intro . . ! The Quick 16 Money is now at $2,460.

Points update from last night. Got rained out after first round so first round winners did get points - and of course everybody got tech in points.

So new race next time you are at track and give them your car number when you come in (number on your tech card that was turned in) - and they will pull it out and apply the credit to the next race either $5K or $2K or you class (and will apply the credit for the amount next time you race) . . . same goes for buy-backs that were turned in.

Track was working and things were rolling until Mother Nature decided to make a pass . . . and hang around.

Well - well well ==> NO RACING TONIGHT - Tuesday Night - it's all around and raining now. May or may not continue but no sun. Track is wet - Coming down hard now . . . . Nashville getting some too.

Tuesday night program 5/26 is rained out.
Thought there was a chance then wet Zebra showed up looking for Muddy Princess - next race date for Street Legal Test & Tune Time Trials is June 2nd. Mark it! - - along with Raul and his amigos - have good evening.

Pushed it out to beat Mother Nature - started good with opening the gates, good concession burgers, chicken baskets with fries - - and got into an hour later - time trials, passes - then it started and rained out tonight GEEEZ.

So full GUARANTEED Program rained out tonight and below are the updated IHRA points for Super Pro, Pro, Sportsman and Jr Dragsters. You can also see them at www.musiccityraceway.com

Tuesday is next race date and next racing Saturday is June 6th (with the program we were going to run tonight).
