We remember the lives taken,
the heroes who ran toward danger,
and the families forever changed.

Though September 11th revealed the darkest depths of tragedy, it also showed us the extraordinary light found in courage, compassion and unity.

May we honor those affected not only through remembrance, but by moving forward with kindness, standing together and choosing hope, even when the road is difficult.

We will never forget.
We will keep their memories alive.
And in their honor, we will continue forward, together.

NC Freedom Fest Closure Notice

NC Freedom Fest takes over Downtown Goldsboro on Saturday, September 12, from 12–9 PM! In preparation for the event, the following streets will be closed from 7 AM–10 PM:

▪️ Center Street from Ash Street to Pine Street
▪️ Mulberry Street from James Street to John Street
▪️ East Walnut Street from Center Street to 112 E. Walnut Street
▪️ Chestnut Street from 101 W. Chestnut Street to 105 E. Chestnut Street
▪️ Spruce Street from Center Street to James Street
▪️ James Street from Spruce Street to Chestnut Street

Parking and driving within the festival footprint during the closure is strictly prohibited. Any vehicles remaining inside the footprint on September 12 will be towed at the owner’s expense.

Concrete barricades will be in place, so vehicles will not be able to enter or exit the festival area during closure hours. Please plan accordingly, and we’ll see you at NC Freedom Fest! 🎉
