I had the privilege of attending the Horse Heaven Round-Up in Kennewick yesterday, and it was such a special day from start to finish!

The afternoon began at Queen Ashleigh’s Queens Luncheon, where I had the opportunity to meet Miss Rodeo America and visit with so many other amazing rodeo royalty.

After lunch, we grabbed some Cattle Drive Coffee and spent the afternoon exploring the fairgrounds and livestock barns. I made sure to stop by and see my FFA Champion pig, Apollo, visited with kids and handed out autograph sheets, and even got the chance to ride a camel!

That evening, I was honored to represent the Klickitat County Fair & Rodeo in the visiting royalty serpentine during the rodeo, which was broadcast live on The Cowboy Channel! Riding alongside such a large group of rodeo royalty made the experience even more memorable.

After the rodeo, I spent some time at the autograph table, where I got to meet and visit with rodeo fans and hand out even more autograph sheets. Getting to connect with the people who make events like this so special was the perfect way to end the night!

What a whirlwind of a week! I would like to start by thanking the Klickitat County Fair and Rodeo Board for putting on such an awesome event and supporting me throughout the year. Without you, none of this would be possible. Next, I would like to thank Amanda and Mason Chambers for being there when I really needed you this week.

I spent an amazing week at the fair, meeting so many people and seeing all that is important in this community, from the 4-H/FFA showmen putting in hard work to the vendors, music, county events, and, of course, the rodeo. I enjoyed meeting so many kids and petting their animals, as well as dancing to the music played by the band. But my favorite part will always be the rodeo. I had the honor of singing the National Anthem both Saturday and Sunday, and I feel truly blessed that I was able to honor our country.

Queen Jaylee has been busy making the most of every minute at the Klickitat County Fair & Rodeo!

So far, she has helped hand out ribbons, cheered on our 4-H and FFA exhibitors while they show their animals, watched the PUD demonstration, served at the Kick-Off BBQ, completed more phone interviews promoting the Fair & Rodeo, and spent time watching the ranch sorting and penning. Tonight, she’ll be back in the arena to watch the branding!

Tomorrow brings another full day, starting with the Fair Parade, followed by the Market Stock Sale in the evening and the first performance of the NPRA Rodeo!

It’s been a great week so far, and Queen Jaylee has loved getting to be part of everything that makes the Klickitat County Fair & Rodeo so special.

This weekend I had the privilege of spending some time in my favorite arena. The Deschutes County Fair and Rodeo is one of my favorite events to attend. The energy from the crowd, the rodeo volunteers, and the contestants is completely unmatched. I got to attend two rodeo performances and the Queen lunch where I met many other Queens. I would like to thank Queen Gracie and everyone else who had a part in making this rodeo weekend so memorable.

I can’t wait to see you all in two weeks at the Klickitat County Fair & Rodeo.

Queen Jaylee had a wonderful time celebrating the 100th year of Goldendale Community Days! She participated in the parade with a fun retro look while riding Miss Cardi. After the parade, she spent the day visiting with community members, exploring vendor booths, and enjoying everything the celebration had to offer.

Some of her favorite parts of the day included checking out the incredible car show, playing games at the carnival, enjoying a delicious lunch from Siberts Meats, watching the amazing performance by the Seattle Cossacks Motorcycle Stunt & Drill Team, and even taking a ride on a racing lawn mower!

Congratulations to the Goldendale community on celebrating 100 years of this cherished tradition. Queen Jaylee is always grateful for the opportunity to represent Klickitat County, connect with the community, and be part of such a special milestone celebration. ❤️

Happy Independence Day! 🇺🇸

This morning I had the opportunity to spend some time in White Salmon at the Independence Day Parade. It was incredible to see so many people gathered to celebrate the 250th anniversary of our nation’s independence.

One of my favorite parts of the day was seeing all the smiling faces along the parade route and watching the planes fly overhead as we made our way through town. Moments like these are a wonderful reminder of the pride and unity that bring our communities together.

I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to represent Klickitat County on such an important day in our nation’s history. Wishing everyone a safe and happy Fourth of July!
