Hard to believe, but the Bristol Renaissance Faire opens in about 49 days — Saturday, July 11th.
Feels like there’s a mountain of trolls, goblins, mushrooms, and mischief to finish between now and then… but I’m excited to get back to the showroom!

he carries Oakshire’s magic with every stride.

If you spot him today in sunshine’s glow,
he’ll share a laugh and a story, just so you know.
For trolls like him are gentle, never cruel or smug,
all they wish to give is a great big hug.

Deep in the roots where the rainwater sings,
and the moss wraps softly around old things,
there wanders an elf with a beard full of breeze
and hair all tangled by whispering trees.
He speaks to the mushrooms as if they reply,
tips his cap to the crows overhead in the sky,
and leaves tiny treasures in hollows and nooks—
rusty old keys and half-finished books.
