I am Melissa the founder of Creation Room! My goal is to put all of the ingredients for great community into one spot, so that your children are blissfully engaged while you find supportive friendships and peace of mind. Most of all we offer you a place to bond with your child and to enjoy parenthood’s greatest reward- seeing your child happy. What we're about:

Balance between exploratory play & structured learning is paramount to a child’s development. Creation Room has been designed to foster independence and creative thinking at the earliest stages, and to nurture those principals from infancy through preschool-providing just what a child needs at each developmental stage

Our Curriculum centers on the whole child through cognitive, social/emotional, and physical development. Our program uses an approach that encourages active exploration and thought-provoking questions about their world. Creation Room has designed a schedule of classes that offers a diverse array of activities for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers at every developmental stage. Our spirited classes include
circle time, jump and dance, sensory art, drum circle, dance out loud to name a few. Built upon developmental milestones, using various teaching techniques to ignite creativity and encourage socialization. This photo got past me but wow. Prathamesh Jaju, a 16-year-old from Pune, India, captured this extremely detailed image of the moon by combining 50,000 different photos!

He told Newsweek that the image is a composite that took more than 50,000 shots and over 40 hours to create. The crystal clear photograph uses components of thousands of shots taken over a four-hour period.

The photo shows craters, textures, dips, shadows, and a variety of colors among other details the naked human eye isn't able to see.

He said he taught himself astrophotography by watching Youtube videos.

Jaju said he has been receiving calls from notable photographers and requests for prints from all around the world since this original post.

Look at the differences between a typical preschool child’s hand (left) and a typical 7 year old hand (right). Want to know why a preschool aged child isn’t able to write yet? This is why! Their hands are still developing and are not fully formed. So what should they be doing to support this? PLAY!! Playdough, colouring, cutting, gluing, playing outside, digging in dirt, sensory play, dress up play, science experiments, beading, puzzles, throwing balls, etc. All of these things help their hands develop. When they are physically ready to write, they will! No need to rush them, they will show you when they are ready!

For most of us, our lives involve a series of patterns routines we perform almost every day, like stopping at the same place each day for coffee on the way to work. This is also very true for children. While we play a part in creating routines in our children's lives, we may not fully realize the role they play in young children's development.
