The Beehive at Bigfoot Hollow

After multiple reports of spooky happenings inside The Beehive and on the surrounding property, we decided to have professional paranormal investigators check out the situation and it turns out…we’re haunted!

We’ve decided to pivot away from normal short term rental and event space activities and open up for investigations!

Spirits can be heard throughout the night inside The Beehive, and we suspect there is a mimic living down by the creek. Check out our new website for more information, including some of the stories and evidence that has been caught so far.

An active, well documented paranormal location in Glouster, Ohio. We welcome experienced investigators, first-time explorers, and everyone in between. Bring your own equipment or borrow ours. You can even book a professional investigator to guide your visit!

Looking for a fun and affordable place to have a party or sleepover? Come to The Beehive!
We offer a large living room area with tons of board games, 3 free to play full size arcade games, a massage chair, and a 50 inch flat screen TV with several streaming services. We also have a DVD player with a great collection of movies and a Wii with games.

There are two bedrooms, one private and one perfect for slumber parties with a double bunk bed and room on the floor for sleeping bags. We also offer two air mattresses.

There is also a beautiful screened in back porch, a cute fenced in back yard, a fire pit, and a charcoal grill!

The cost to rent the whole house and yard for a party is $200 for 4 hours. This time slot includes set up and clean up time, so please plan accordingly. Slumber parties are the regular party price ($200) plus $25 for each person spending the night.

If that wasn't enough, we also have a laser tag and paintball park on the property. Reservations for games must be made separately and extra fees apply. We have some exciting news! The Beehive is now available for parties and sleepovers! We have been working hard to make the perfect party space and we think we've nailed it!

We are searching for people to lead two different programs for kids. One is an outside nature based play and exploration group for ages 3-12 and the other is a sort of magical, feminist, empowering adventure/art group for ages 10-17. The same person can lead both groups or they can be different. We do not have the ability to pay at this time, but we do have 501(c)3 status so if the person hired is motivated, they may apply for grants under our organization. They may also choose to charge an affordable amount to the participants in the group.

No experience is necessary but the leaders must meet the following criteria: Enthusiastic, confident, reliable, q***r friendly, trans* supportive, anti-racist. Women, non-binary & trans folks, and POC are encouraged to apply! We would love to find a few people who are excited about building these programs to collaborate with. Please reach out if you are interested! We are located about 20 minutes outside of Athens near Burr Oak.
