We found our first rock over a year ago. We didnt know what the heck it meant at the time. However after following a few groups and beginning to paint a few rocks myself (to further the movement because we kept our rock), we were hooked. It has become one of our favorite past times. From finding them, painting them, hiding them in the perfect spot and following where they go and how they touch the lives of those who discover them we have discovered our own joy. But the excitement we get from hearing about the little girl who wont let hers go because she thinks it her on the rock, or the sentiment of a daughter who found a Breast cancer Awareness rock while her Mom fights the disease herself. I even enjoy painting special ones that mean something or say something to the people I care for. It is truly a labor of love.
So I started this page because I like to keep track of my work and the stories that go along with them. This is a perfect way to do that and also share them with other rock lovers. It is all about kindness and couldn’t we all use a little more of that in our lives?
So if you find a kindness rock, whether you keep it ( dont feel bad about wanting to keep it the artist would be flattered ) or re hide it, snap a picture and post it to the group listed on the back of the rock. You never know who is following to see were that little piece of art is going to go.
