Bayside Youth Ballet

Classes are on for tonight! Can’t wait to see you.

09/23/2026

In order to accommodate the weather and incoming tides this evening, we will be running classes on a modified schedule. Ballet III/IV (4PM-6PM), Jazz IB (4:30-5:15) and Ballet IB/II will meet as previously scheduled. Teen/Adult Ballet Basics, Modern, and Music theatre are canceled for this evening in order to allow everyone to avoid traveling during the higher tides. Please check your email for make up information.

Your safety is of utmost importance, so if you are unable to make it in for classes tonight, please reach out for make up opportunities.

Dancers and families- we are assessing the current forecast and tides. We will make a call regarding classes for this evening by 1PM today.

Please note, if we make the decision to have classes but it is not safe for you, please make the decision that is best for you and your family.

Like so many in our community, the last week has been very difficult for us. Amia's absence was profoundly felt last week, from her boundless energy to her sweet smile. We found solace in the fact that Amia always wanted to dance, and that was the best thing we could do to honor her. We will continue to do so and use Amia as an example of how to embrace life to the fullest.

View Amia Rosalynn Schultz's obituary, send flowers, find service dates, and sign the guestbook.
