💩🤪 WACKY WEDNESDAY IS HERE! 🤪💩

🐾💩 Welcome to our NEW Wacky Wednesday series at The Rusty Buckle Farm! 😂

If your kiddos have visited the farm or had our farm friends visit them, you already know… one thing that ALWAYS seems to fascinate kids is… P**P! 💩🤣

So we thought, why not have a little fun with it?! 🙈

After all, p**p is just another production from our farm friends! 🐐🦙🐴 And believe it or not, there’s actually some pretty cool science behind it!

For the next few weeks, we’re bringing you some wacky, silly, and surprisingly educational animal p**p facts! 🤓💩

🥁🥁🥁 LET’S KICK THINGS OFF WITH OUR LLAMA & ALPACA FRIENDS! 🦙🤎

💩 Did you know?!

🟤 1. The P**P PILE! Llamas and alpacas are pretty particular about their bathroom habits! They often use shared spots called dung piles instead of leaving little presents everywhere they go! 💩😂

🟤 2. Little Chocolate Beans! Their p**p usually comes out in small, oval shaped pellets that look a little like chocolate covered raisins… BUT PLEASE DON’T EAT THE CHOCOLATE! 🤣🍫💩

🟤 3. Farmer’s GOLD! 🌱 Their p**p can be composted and used as fertilizer to help gardens and plants grow. It’s nature’s way of recycling nutrients!

🟤 4. Garden Friendly Goodness! Compared with many fresh animal manures, llama and alpaca manure is relatively low in nitrogen and salts, making it a popular choice for gardeners. It should still be composted or handled appropriately before use! 🌻🌿

🟤 5. The P**p Doesn’t Have to Be POO-PUT OFF! 😂 Because they tend to use designated dung piles, cleaning up after these fluffy friends can be easier than you might expect!

🟤 6. From Fluffy to Fertilizer! 🦙➡️🌱 What goes in as hay, grass, and other forage comes out as nutrients that can return to the soil. Now THAT’S recycling!

Who knew p**p could be so educational?! 🤓💩

💦🐥 Hmm… maybe I should start a new Facebook series…

“How Many Water Buckets Will I Overflow Today?” 😂🤦‍♀️

Because apparently filling a water bucket is a little too exciting around here… and I can NEVER seem to stop filling it before it overflows! 💦🤣

It’s no wonder the ducks follow me around during farm chores. 🦆 They know exactly what’s coming… FREE DUCK POOL! 😂💦

At this point, I’m pretty sure they’re not following me because they love me… they’re following me because I’m their personal waterpark attendant. 🤣🦆💦

🌧️🐴 Checking in on our Rusty Buckle Farm family — YOU! 🐐❤️

How is everyone doing during this Nor’easter? 🌬️🌧️
Do you still have power? Staying dry? Hopefully tucked in somewhere warm and cozy!

Here at the farm, everyone is safe, warm and dry — well, everyone except us when we head outside for farm chores and check-ups! 😂🌧️ But we’re happy to report that our animals are riding out the storm just fine. ❤️

So, what are you all doing with your rainy day? Movies? Games? Baking? Maybe a little extra family time? ☕️🏠

Around here, stormy days mean comfort food! 🍲 Our crockpot of beef stew is cooking away in the kitchen, making the whole house smell amazing. 😋
