4th Medallion Hunt Clue:

The Medallion was found Wednesday night, but here is the final clue for everyone who is still following along!

If you're still searching and getting discouraged...well
Here's a thought, find yourself a bench at the end of 5th Street SE and sit a spell.
To find the medallion that you so earnestly covet,
Inspect the one bearing the metal plate "Rise Above It".
Thanks for playing along and now that you've come this far,
You'll find this year's medallion taped to the metal bar.

Medallion Hunt Clue #4:
Tonight marks the first of two street dances for your entertainment, yes, the tried and true Johnny Holm Band tonight, and Tripwire tomorrow in their Waterama debut.
Not to be missed Sat. night after the pontoon parade is a spectacular fireworks display,
The illuminations shimmer on the lake & booms reverberate from the escarpment to the bay.

Sunday begins with a community church service from the city park band shell.
Later in the day, a waterski show where performers stay afloat, or pitch pell-mell into the swell.
Among those in the 100-unit parade are bands, drum corps, and vehicles with this year's candidates' royalty presentation,
Before they take the stage in a few hours for the crown and gown program at this year's coronation.

Clue #2

Hope everyone is having a Wonderful Wednesday,
as dozens of kids have enjoyed the Traveling Tree House, learning as they play.
There's a slate of activities to choose from for kids of all ages
when you review the menu offers as you turn these Waterama week pages.

Yes, Waterama has something to welcome all comers: children, ladies and gents;
From weekend warrior athletic competitions, to others preferring more creative bents.
Arts and crafts, book fairs, museum displays, even live theatre shows.
Since 1978, Showstoppers have entertained us; this year it's "Anything Goes".

Clue #1

Just 3 weeks ago, we the people celebrated 250 years across America's neighborhoods.
This week we mark 70 years of Glenwood Waterama in our very own neck of the woods.
Year after year, century after century, facing both fair skies and stormy weather;
Today we are thankful for the foresight and pledge our perseverance together.

Two celebrations, one founded upon self-government as the world's oldest democratic republic;
The other, a local annual aquatic-themed community-style family picnic.
The former promotes such truths as "unalienable rights, life, liberty" in its preamble address,
The latter offering that which naturally follows such freedoms, namely "the pursuit of happiness".
