We were proud to host Arts Alliance Illinois earlier this week for one of their Illinois Creative Future Roadshow events. These events bring communities together to help shape an action plan for investing in Illinois’ creative future. Attendees engaged in a working session that used insights from the Creative Economy of Chicago and Illinois: Impact and Assets reports to spark conversation, identify priorities, and build ideas for strengthening Illinois’ creative economy. We couldn’t be happier to be involved in such great work around the future of arts in Illinois!

Meet Joe Dennis, the understudy for “NYC Man” in I LOVE YOU BECAUSE.

Something interesting about Joe is that he has six siblings and all of their names start with J -
five of them are sisters.

Joe is a singer, actor, and music instructor from Chicago, IL. He graduated from Lawrence University: Conservatory of Music in 2020. Joe currently serves as a music director for Bravo Performing Arts at Brooks Middle School as well as OPRF High School’s Show Choir, Noteworthy. Outside of music directing, Joe also performs with the Connexion Wedding Band and The Uptones. Previous productions include: BEAUTIFUL: THE CAROLE KING MUSICALat Highland Park Players, NEXT TO NORMAL at Madison Street Theater, and RENT at Highland Park Players.
