"Photography is about the decisive moment."

Photographer Alan Wiggins reflects on a lesson that stayed with him for decades. Inspired by the work of Henri Cartier-Bresson in the 1970s, Alan developed a fascination with photography—but didn't seriously pursue it until after retiring from a career in IT nearly nine years ago.

Today, that passion has led to award-winning images that capture fleeting moments and the stories hidden within them.

Watch the full interview to hear more about Alan's artistic journey, his approach to street photography, and why it's never too late to pursue a creative passion.
