North Country Arts is a volunteer run membership arts organization whose mission is to provide opportunities, encourage and promote artists in the North Country. North Country Arts currently manages three galleries in the Lower Adiro

🎨 Art Speaks opens this Saturday!

Join North Country Arts this Saturday at 5 PM for the opening reception of Art Speaks, our newest exhibition celebrating the unique voices, perspectives, and creative expressions of artists from across the region.

From painting and photography to pottery, fiber art, and more, Art Speaks invites you to experience the conversations happening through art—stories of nature’s beauty, waves of emotion, the inner workings of the mind, human connection, and everything in between.

Looking for fresh inspiration or thoughtful feedback on your artwork? 🎨

Join North Country Arts for Artist's Creative Insights, a free, welcoming discussion where artists of all experience levels and mediums can connect, share, and grow.

We're excited to announce that this month's discussion will be moderated by Dolores Thomson, a working artist for more than 35 years and owner of Clay Concepts Studio. Dolores brings decades of artistic experience and a passion for fostering creativity in the local arts community.

Bring 1–2 pieces of your artwork, share your creative process, ask questions, and receive supportive, constructive feedback from fellow artists in a relaxed, encouraging environment.

There are five opportunities to view our current exhibit, Stars Colliding, before drop-off for our next show, Art Speaks.

NCA's next exhibition is open to all current members. Artists may submit TWO works for installation for this exhibit.

Drop-off is Saturday, Aug. 15th, 12 to 3 PM. Join us for the opening reception on Saturday, Aug. 22nd, 5 PM. The exhibit will be on view Aug. 22 through Sept. 25!

The 2nd Floor Gallery in City Hall has been transformed into Bella Zhdanova's "Soft World. Last Friday, we celebrated the opening of the latest exhibit, where several pieces found new homes—a wonderful testament to the community's enthusiasm for Bella's work.

A teacher, Bella's work is inspired by her students' wonder. She creates stories from that expansive, imaginative realm innocence with a variety of materials.

Her work is on view now through September 25.
