It is with a heavy heart that I announce the shut down of music lessons and walk-in retail at the GFMA effective 11/1/20.
Though we started in 2007 and grew exponentially through the Great Recession, the Covid-19 pandemic has not afforded us the same prosperity.
For the thousands of students that graced the halls for over 13 years, we thank you for your patronage as well as appreciate and respect your desire to learn more and go further.
Current students please make contact with your instructor to discuss other options/locations to keep your lessons going.
Retail operations will no longer operate during set hours, but instead work in an on-line capacity as it did in the beginning of the Covid-19 shutdown. If interested or unfamiliar, please see www.gfmusicacademy.com in the coming days for more information about how it can work for you.
For those renting string instruments through Vermont Violins, I am looking forward to continuing that partnership which means customer interactions will need to happen by appointment. For most, this is already how we have been interacting, so things shouldn’t change much.
Recording, pro audio and backline equipment rental, and live sound services will still be operational by appointment. Please contact me via www.gfmusicacademy.com to schedule your recording projects or discuss your equipment needs.
Thank you again for your past and continued support of the GFMA mission to provide a community music resource. Here's hoping for better things ahead.
Sincerely,
Chris Reed, Jr.
