That's a wrap on LARAC Summer Camp! These kiddos filled our gallery with color, glitter and laughs! 🎨
We are so grateful to our fabulous teacher, Mrs. Mc for spending the five weeks with us, teaching All About Paint, Printmaking, Air Dry Clay and so much more!

Summer Camp was made possible with funds from our two local sponsors, Thermal Associates Heating & Cooling and Stewart's Shops Holiday Fund. Thank you for helping us bring the arts to the next generation!

Come Paint with Patrice! In this relaxing 2 hour painting class designed for beginners, participants will practice art skills using color, form, value and proportions using acrylic paints on 8x8 or 8x10 stretched canvas to take home a finished painting. This month’s painting is inspired by the charm and colors of a Mallard duck 🦆

‼️The 2027 Community Arts Grants APPLICATIONS are now OPEN!
The Guidelines and link to our new online application forms are accessible at www.LARAC.org/grants! 🎉

For over 25 years these grants have been available through LARAC and the New York State Council on the Arts, through the Statewide Community Regrant program with support from the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature. These grants are awarded annually to Warren and Washington county artists, non-profit organizations, municipalities, and groups.

2027 Deadline: November 23, 2026 | 4pm

Our first grant information session will be this Thursday, August 27th at 4pm, via ZOOM. Please RSVP to our Grants Coordinator, Kori, at [email protected] to receive the ZOOM invitation.

Diane's next Watercolor Workshop is open for registration! September 3rd's two-hour painting workshop covering watercolor techniques and tricks to help participants feel more at ease working in the medium. Participants will practice technique demonstrated by instructor to learn some of the magic of the medium, while working on a specific scene or motif.
