Ludwig's Corner Show Grounds Equestrian Events Venue & Fairgrounds. Home of the Ludwig’s Corner Horse Show & Country Fair each Labor Day weekend since 1943.

In 1943 a group of residents, farm owners & fox hunters in the Ludwig’s Corner area of Chester County met to plan a horse show, the purpose of which would be to bring together lovers of horses, legging up for the fox hunting season, and of preserving the countryside to aid various community activities. Eighty-eight horses were entered in that first show, and the proceeds went to the Boy Scouts and

Girl Scouts of Birchrunville. Over the next 7 decades, through much hard work, effort, and planning, the Association bought and has maintained the beautiful 33-acre show grounds, on which this year’s show is being held. Credit for this success must go to the individual members of the Ludwigs Corner Horse Show Association, past and present, who have given so much of their time and efforts over the years. Income to maintain and improve the grounds for show purposes and to secure this open space for similar activities in the future is obtained from membership dues and donations, this horse show and the rental of the grounds to other groups for other horse shows, dog shows, antique shows, automobile shows and similar venues, festivals, and other fund raising activities, sporting & community events. The Ludwig’s Corner Horse Show Association Foundation will continue to pursue the objectives for which it was organized and welcomes the support of all who would like to foster its aims. Get ready for rides, games, great food and beer, live music, and fun for the whole family — our 7th Annual Ludwig’s Corner Carnival is almost here!

July 7th - 11th, 2026
Tuesday - Friday: 6-10 PM
Saturday: 4-10 PM

🎪 Rides, amusements, and classic carnival eats will be provided and operated by Houghton Enterprises, Inc.

🍻 Stolen Sun Craft Brewing will be pouring their handcrafted brews and serving hard seltzer for those 21+ all week at the Beer Garden — or enjoy a cocktail from Revival Pizza Pub featuring Diamond Sponsor Tito's Handmade Vodka, with all proceeds from those drinks directly benefitting LCHSA.

🎸 While at the Beer Garden, kick back and enjoy — or dance along to live music from local groups!

New Start is the retired racehorse adoption program of the Pennsylvania Horsemen’s Benevolence and Protective Association (PA HBPA). New Start's mission is to work with foster farms to find qualified homes for horses that have been retired from racing at Penn National Race Course.
