is a 501(c) 3 non profit, charitable service organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service. Organized in 1901, Glendale Woman's Club joined General Federation of Woman’s Club (GFWC) in 1902, and became part of the largest and oldest women’s volunteer organization in the world. GFWC Glendale Woman’s Club is non-partisan, non-sectarian and

non-profit. Each year is filled with a variety of community service projects and educational programs organized to help those in need. Our club's top 5 priorities focus on having a lasting and positive impact on a) Literacy b) Youth c) Seniors d) Women's History and e) US Vets. Everyone can use a Bear Hug now and then. And what better way than to support Teddy Bear Day - Historic Downtown Glendale with Bears & More. The Glendale Woman's Club couldn't be more proud of club members Valerie Burner and Linda Moran-Whittley for their endless love, time and commitment to Teddy Bear Days. To show our support, your club sisters showed up and purchased bears to support the Trauma Teddy Program. Each bear was lovingly donated to our first responders who will find a child who needs a bear hug and make their day just a little brighter.

Special thanks to City of Glendale-Councilmember Lupe Conchas 2028 who took time in the August 25 City Council meeting to acknowledge Dolly Parton's passing, the importance of our program, and your pledge of continued support of the Dolly Parton's Imagination Library program in . Today we have ~2,800 families receiving books monthly. Just $32, sponsors one child for an entire year. Dolly Parton's Imagination Library is just one way this beautiful soul allowed us to join her journey of touching others with kindness. Thank you Dolly for allowing to partner with you and the community to bring book to children in Glendale, AZ. We will always love you.

Our community signed on to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library in 2022 to give our children the best start in life. Inspired by Dolly Parton’s own dad, who couldn’t read or write.

While our hearts are incredibly sad today, we’re more inspired than ever to continue this important mission. Together, we are building a brighter future for our children.
