People think they are only hiring a DJ to play for 4 hours at their event and don’t realize what’s truly entailed.

Arriving early and doing a sound check is very important when doing gigs.

When doing a gig, and having professional equipment, this is what it takes to DJ a gig:
30 minutes to load up the equipment into the vehicle
20min-1.5hrs to travel
20min-30 minutes to unload the vehicle
1 hour to set-up speakers, lights & equipment
10min-30 minutes of sound checking.

Then when the event is over, it takes an hour to tear-down the set and 30 minutes to load it into the vehicle, and another 30min to 1.5hrs (depending on where we were DJing at) to get home and unload.

When we get hired, we also make sure we have a list of our client’s favorite songs, introductions, announcements, and everything we need to make a memorable event.

There is a lot of prep work we do to ensure we offer the best possible service for our client and their event. We work
8 to 30 hours behind-the-scenes when we are hired as a DJ.

There is no party or event we can't do.
