Today we celebrated our work throughout this school year with our Together We Create program and it was a blast! Some of our amazing partners who worked with us at the schools including Knit Picky Kreations by Kendall Ready Set Grow Publications joined us to showcase what they did with students and celebrate an amazing year! Thank you to everyone who came, our amazing partners, Uptown Society for DJing and MKE Rec for bringing the Together We Create program to life. We cant wait to do it again next year!

✨ Words have power — and our Together We Create Art Club students got a front-row reminder of that! 🙌🏾

We had the amazing Carlos from come in to lead our students through a powerful session all about the power of our words. From a crossword puzzle activity to diving deep into affirmations and how we speak to ourselves and others, our young artists were engaged, reflective, and inspired. 💬🖊️

They wrapped things up with a journaling activity to put those positive words into practice - and let me tell you, these students SHOWED UP! 🌟
This is what collaboration looks like. This is what community looks like. 💛
