Join us for the annual Cops & Bobbers Fishing Derby on Saturday, June 13 from 9:00 am to 11:30 am!

Lake Becerra (1736 Paul Avenue) has been freshly stocked with over 1,100 fish for our free, family friendly, catch and release event! No pre-registration is required and the will be providing the tastiest worms!

Who will reel in the biggest catch? There’s only one way to find out!

Glendale Heights is proud to introduce Unity Day, a community celebration that brings together the diverse cultures, traditions, and people who make our Village such a special place to call home. The event will take place on Sunday, August 9, from Noon to 7 PM at Camera Park and will feature cultural performances, international food, family-friendly activities, and opportunities to learn about the many cultures represented in our community.

Be sure to register soon! Our summer soccer league registration deadline will be on June 7! Everyone may register online through our website or in person at our Sports Hub front desk.

Practices begin the week of June 22-26 and games will take place on Saturdays starting July 11.

On Thursday, June 4, 2026, the Village Board signed a proclamation recognizing the month of June as LGBTQIA+ Pride Month. The proclamation highlights the value and dignity of each person, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, and celebrates the contributions and acceptance of all members of the Glendale Heights community.

"Whereas, the Village of Glendale Heights values diversity and remains committed to fostering a community where every resident knows they belong."

Great news, Glendale Heights! The wait is over! The main slides at the GH2O Aquatic Center are officially back up and running!

Thank you for your patience while repairs were completed. Now it's time to climb, slide, splash, and enjoy everything summer has to offer at GH2O.

What a great start to the 2026 Concerts in the Park series! The community gathered yesterday evening to enjoy a beautiful night of live music from Anthem - Chicago, delicious food from Taco Gyro and Kona Ice, and yard games provided by Kiwanis of Glendale Heights.

We are excited to share we will be hosting a one week soccer camp that will be run by the Chicago Fire! This camp will take place the week of June 15-19 from 9AM-12PM at the Camera Park Turf Field!
