Glencoe Park District For over 100 years, Glencoe Park District has been the place for FUN!

We provide recreation programs and services for all ages, from toddlers to adults, at three unique facilities: Takiff Center, Weinberg Family Recreation Center, and Glencoe Beach. We are committed to become the most innovative, customer-driven, and fiscally-responsible park district for current and future generations. The Takiff Center features dynamic recreational program rooms for exercise and h

ealth, creative and performing arts, early childhood development, and various sports. Also available are a variety of rental spaces for both large and small events, making the facility a welcoming place for community members to gather. Watts Center is open all year for recreation programs, but during the winter months it features two outdoor refrigerated ice rinks. Generations of Glencoe residents have enjoyed figure skating, hockey, broomball and other ice games at Watts. Glencoe Bathing and Boating Beaches are open during the summer months for swimming, sailing, kayaking, and other water activities.

And that's a wrap on the Class of 2026! Our hearts are so full after celebrating our Children's Circle graduates last Friday. It has been an absolute privilege to watch these little ones learn, play, and blossom this year.

To our families, thank you for sharing your incredible children with us. We are so proud of every single one of our graduates and can't wait to see all the amazing things they do in kindergarten!

What a wonderful morning! A huge thank you to Wendy and DB for bringing so much energy and fun to Tots 'n Tunes today. It was amazing to see all the little ones dancing and singing along.

As a reminder, residents should use caution when receiving unsolicited text messages and avoid clicking links from unknown sources. If you have questions about the work being conducted by the Village and Park District to improve traffic flow, parking management, and pedestrian safety in the Glencoe Beach and Lakefront Park area visit www.villageofglencoe.org/lakefrontparking.

Huge thanks to our Glencoe .500 tiny drivers, their pit crew parents, and everyone who came out to cheer them on! A special thank you to the North Shore Corvette Club for giving our little racers a chance to check out their incredible cars, and to our friends at Partywheelz for bringing vehicles for our young drivers to enjoy. What a Saturday!
