I'm John Nowak, a self-taught woodworker creating handcrafted boards in Glenburn, ME. A native of Western Massachusetts I spent every summer family vacation in York Beach, Maine. My career path includes professional musician, licensed optician, Vietnam era veteran serving in Korea, and small business owner. In my 50s I went back to school to become a Physician Assistant, which brought me back to Maine. Now retired I'm enjoying learning my craft and exploring the beauty of wood, each piece is a unique piece of functional art that with good care will last for generations. I created Cedar Breeze Woodworking in 2022 to share my Maine made boards with friends, family, and you!

Good morning from Camden. One of those tiny white tent canopies behind the masts is us. All set up for Harbor Arts Fair at the Camden Public Library. It's a gorgeous start to a beautiful weekend come out and enjoy Maine Crafts Association Maine Craft Weekend!
