Losing a family member is one of the most difficult experiences in life. No matter how great or poor the relationship is, the impact they make in your life stays with you forever.

My grandmother Lola has been in and out of the hospital all of 2021. We were trying to prepare ourselves, but no one is ever truly ready.. She is now at peace with God, who she loved so much. I thank her for giving me the strength to stand up against injustice and for loving me the best way she knew how. I love you so much Mom-Mom. I pray that I'll get the chance to see you and Nana again.

Tomorrow is never promised. Please spend as much time with your loved ones as possible. In the end, it's all about the memories you share with others and having those memories live on. I will do my best to share your story with the world Mom-Mom. 💜

💜💙💗2020 was probably the most life changing year for me. I've lost and gain so many things. But the one thing that has kept me going and moving forward is my love for helping and inspiring others. God has given me the gift of truly loving my neighbors. I'm incredibly grateful for the strength God has given me. To me God goes by many names, The Universe, Law of Attraction, The Almighty, and so many others. My mission is to spread joy and love to those everywhere, especially to young Black girls who have a hard time loving themselves. You are enough and you are meant for great things!

I hope you enjoy my interpretation of "Seasons of Love" from the musical Rent. 💗💙💜
